About me
I'm a southern California girl who moved to Wyoming in search of adventure and pine trees. I'm a lover of all things good: coffee, music, travel, rain, and of course- my absolutely amazing husband and bird- crazy dog Maverick. I'm a Geographer by degree and nerd by choice. I cook to the sound of French and Portuguese music even though I speak neither. I love road trips, camping, hiking, and capturing life through the lens of my camera. Take me to Anthropologie and I may never leave. I'm a sucker for pretty packaging, bargain finds, and old movies.
I started blogging back in 2008 as Mrs Espresso over at Weddingbee, and once our wedding was over- continued the antics over here at Silver Pencils. In 2010, my husband and I quit our stable, corporate jobs in California, to try a new way of life in Wyoming. I now work from home creating accessories for both of my Etsy shops: SP Bridal and SP Home. And my husband- well he's a river rafting guide. We no longer sit in traffic. We see bald eagles and moose on a regular basis. And we are soooooo much happier. Follow our adventures here
